2-16-2017 Ben Floyd, 116 W. Front Street - Replace front walk, pave drive, build deck, build steps to back yard, replace sliding glass doors with windows on porch, paint shutters and paint brick foundation.
2-16-2017 Gary Weaver, 221 Gilliam Street - Repoint four chimneys with like material (lime, sand and Portland cement) and remove mature tree that has roots that have extended into the driveway making it almost unusable. Tree specialist determined the only solution for the driveway is for the tree to come down.

3-16-2017 St. Stephen"s Episcopal Church, 140 College Street - Construct an outdoor pavilion at the rear of the Parish Hall, replacement and installation of walkway, installation of a seat wall, installation of new wrought iron fence surrounding the cemetery and landscaping including new shrubs and ornamental plantings, a few trees and moving some existing trees.
3-16-2017 Leslie and Preston Johnson, 219 Main Street - Install three handrails on steps landing from the sidewalk to the house for safety.
3-16-2017 Derreck Brown, 213 High Street - Repair 14' of front porch soffit, replace two columns to resin to match existing 16 columns and spot repair siding and fascia boards with same material prior to painting entire house.
3-16-2017 Christine Sims, 201 E. Front Street - Replace approximately 300 sq. feet of existing aged and rotting deck boards - will replace nails with screws and stain deck brown to match planter boxes and studio in rear of house and apply sealant.
4-20-2017 Jim Plank, 109 Rectory Street - Replacement of siding and trim, repainting of foundation, repair and repainting of roof, replacement of section of roof and repair porch flooring.
4-20-2017 Katherine and Stratton Whitlow, 305 Main Street - Replace black asphalt shingle roof with a black architectural shingle roof.
4-20-2017 Dickon and Anna Housman, 306 Broad Street - Homeowners built a fence with white 4 x 4 posts and white 4 x 4 handrails with wire in between the posts which they intend to plant seasonal flowers or vegetation.
4-20-2017 (minor works) Jayne and Stephen Kirkpatrick, 214 Main Street - Replace white aluminum storm windows with new white aluminum storm windows.
6-15-2017 Marc Brooks, 221 Main Street - Installation of brick veneered concrete block retaining wall at front sidewalk, expansion of rear yard brick paver patio and addition of patio steps, installation of two 6' x 3' raised garden beds (in wood) at side of garage and installation of stained wood steps with white railings at right angle to existing steps leading from screened porch to rear yard.
6-15-2017 Tony Armento, 203 College Street - Repairs to EPDM membrane flat roof at back of house and application of silicone roof coating to EPDM flat roof - roofers will use a white silicone which will give it a gray appearance instead of black.
6-15-2017 (minor works) Stephen Stockton, 210 College Street - Replaced shingles on porch roof with matching materials - green asphalt shingles with green asphalt shingles.
7-20-2017 Jeff and Lisa Schons, 414 College Street - Carriage house/garage - re-coating ancillary building roof in black epoxy, replace damaged fascia, add wood swinging doors (painted black) to main entrance of the building, install original light fixture and repair and modify door to fit opening of the building (the top of the door which is missing will be replaced with wood and painted black). Main house - repair damaged clapboard with clapboard in garage that matches and decorative elements, repair masonry foundation and chimney with appropriate type and mixture of mortar, crawl space, basement and piers. Brick will replace brick. Install a-frame roof above existing flat roof (to match and to join to existing roofs). Install 5' high fence in back yard - approximately 100 ft deep which will be black aluminum square tube and rectangle shape.
7-20-2017 Tony Armento, 203 College St - Replace wood storm windows that are deteriorated with white enamalized aluminum storm windows widely used for historic homes. The windows were suggested by the State Historic Preservation Office.

7-20-2017 (COA Renewal) Danny Young Evans, 307 Main Street - Construction of white wood shed with tin in the rear of yard.
8-17-2017 - Jeff and Lisa Schons, 414 College Street - Change of front porch ceiling color from white to green, which had been the original color of the porch ceiling.
8-17-2017 - Francis Winston, 611 College Street - Replace black asphalt shingle roof on front porch with black standing seam metal roof.
8-17-2017 - Jim Blaine, 109 Rectory Street - Removal of vinyl and aluminum finishes and replacement with wood lap siding; also, replacement of wood lap siding where repair is not feasible. Minor repair and repoint previously painted masonry. Replace underlying wood frame roof structure in single story roof addition with wood trusses (architectural shingles will be used on the roof). Coat pressed tin shingles on mansard roof and standing seam roof with Hydro Stop coating. Removal and replacement of aluminum and vinyl windows and storm windows and replace with wood windows. Repairs to front porch including replacement of wood flooring where repair is not feasible. Installation of wood screen door with Victorian features at front entry. Replacement of wood deck at rear of building with slightly larger one (deck is not visible from the street). Installation of fully screened heat pumps at the rear of the building, relocation of overhead utility connections underground. Add a 6' x 14' addition at rear of original structure using wood lap siding to match existing building. Replacement of deteriorated concrete driveway runners with new concrete. Removal of metal fence and relocation of gates to rear of property.

9-21-2017 - Don McLean for Dr. SB Lewis Jr, 312 Main Street - Replacement of rotted structural beams of the front porch. The beams will be treated wood and painted white as are current beams

10-19-2017 - Phil and LaVerne Pope, 213 College Street - Enclose part of rear side deck on the rear of the property using standing seam black metal roof to match black asphalt roof and all wood for columns, fascia board, soffit and rails and will be painted white to match existing house color

12-7-2017 - Tony Armento, 203 College Street - Install shutters using offset hinges, install shutter caps, apply white silicone roof coating to second EDPM flat roof, adjust grade (north side) to correct drainage, install French drain if needed, re-point masonry foundation (north side) as needed, replace wooden utility access door
12-7-2017 (minor works) - Richard and Jacalyn Thomas, 224 College Street - Replace as needed the rotted portions of the 2nd floor balustrade of front porch and porte cochere with white painted wood. There will be no alteration to design materials or color.
