4-16-2009 Richard H. Thornton Library, 210 Main St.--Expansion Plan 6-18-2009 Oxford United Methodist Church, 149 College St.--New construction of a brick and granite church sign with three walls, front one to have sign information which will read "Oxford United Methodist Church" with a wall (wing) off to either side; brick and granite insert to match existing on church; located on corner in front of the church garden area; not attached to existing building
9-17-2009 Anthony Armento, 203 College St.--All fencing will be white vinyl composite of wood grain texture; one on McClanahan St.; another fence 5' high with lattice top and solid panels to surround air conditioning unit and generator; fencing facing College St. to be same as 6' high fence on the Howard property side; 12' x 22' terrace on back of property has red brick veneer finish with herringbone brick surface, with white balustrade using a polymer material; steps will be "waterfall type" which flare out to match architecture of the home proportionate to the size of the house; 12' x 12' pergola will be built with pressure treated lumber with white stain finish
12-10-2009 Oxford Baptist Church, 147 Main St.—Columbarium located in a courtyard between the church sanctuary/education building and the family life center of the church; pre-cast structures covered with brick in keeping with the architecture of the church; rendering niches will be covered with marble; there will also be a private garden with benches
12-10-2009 Manie Currin, 203 Main St.—Chimneys and foundation will be repaired with existing materials; house to be painted white; rotted wood to be repaired with original material; house is cedar wood; no vinyl nor aluminum to be used in restoration; gingerbread to be restored with same materials; porches are roofed with stainless steel metal, but roof over the house proper is slate; part of the house roof will be repaired with slate from one of the porches; porches will have a galvanized steel rood painted black with standard seam and blind screws
